Whether you’re adding capacity or installing a complete line, your investment needs to deliver reliable production at the required rate.
Foodmach brings equipment and controls together, with more integration and testing completed before installation.
When new equipment arrives on site, unresolved design questions and controls interfaces can extend commissioning and delay production.
Our Vertical Startup System addresses those issues earlier. We plan how the complete system will operate, validate the design and test operation before delivery. That preparation gives your team greater confidence in the transition to production.
Vertical startup means reaching stable, saleable production as quickly as possible after installation.
Proven Design
We start with your production requirements and the constraints of your factory.
Collaborative design reviews draw on our library of proven designs, while our digital engineering capabilities include 3D simulation and emulation to test complex operations before manufacture.
This helps resolve design questions early, supporting on-time execution and reducing the work left for site commissioning.
Controlled Execution
Our in-house engineering and manufacturing teams work to an agreed design through staged releases and structured project management.
Software development stays coordinated with the equipment it will control. Clear responsibilities and progress reporting help you understand how the project is tracking and where decisions are needed.
Production-Ready Installation
We integrate controls and test operation before delivery, including Factory Acceptance Testing against agreed requirements.
We then coordinate installation and commissioning around your site and production needs.
The aim is to arrive with more of the system already proven and fewer issues left to resolve on your factory floor.
A production line needs equipment from different suppliers to work together reliably.
That includes how machines communicate, how product moves between them and what happens when production stops.
Foodmach coordinates these connections across the agreed project scope. With mechanical and electrical engineering, software and manufacturing in-house, we can resolve issues across disciplines and follow them through into commissioning.
You have one point of responsibility for the system we deliver, with local service and support for its working life.
APPLIED ACROSS DIFFERENT PRODUCTION CHALLENGES:
A new solution to a manual-handling challenge
When Yalumba needed to automate loading heavy wine and sparkling wine bottles into timber tirage bins, no existing solution met the requirement.
Foodmach agreed to develop a purpose-built loader at a fixed price, backed by our Vertical Startup guarantee.
Designed to improve ergonomics and reduce manual-handling risk, the machine has a design capacity of up to 5,500 bottles per hour. It has successfully completed Factory Acceptance Testing, with site installation and commissioning to follow.

Connecting two lines through a common control architecture
Foodmach’s work brings machinery, inspection and production data together across two lines, with coordinated line setup and shared palletising infrastructure.
The project demonstrates how separate technologies can be managed as one production environment.
Checking operation before delivery
Factory Acceptance Testing of the depalletiser gave the customer an opportunity to assess the equipment and work through changes before it left Foodmach’s facility.
You may need more output from an existing line, room for another product format or a way to connect new equipment with machinery already in service.
We work across individual automation projects and complete production systems, including factory relocations. The starting point is understanding what you need to produce and what could prevent you from getting there.
Our capabilities extend from packaging automation to palletising and intralogistics, supported by line controls and production software.
Tell us what you need to achieve and when you need it running. We can help define the automation scope and how the system will be integrated and validated before installation.
You don’t need a completed specification to start the conversation. Tell us about your current line, the change you need and your intended timing.
